JESUS USES THE KINGDOMS INTERCHANGEABLY
Baptists have this cute little doctrine that makes the Kingdom of God a separate thing from the Kingdom of Heaven. They say the kingdom of God is spiritual and in your heart, while the kingdom of heaven is physical and will be on earth.
Matthew 5:3
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
Luke 6:20
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the KINGDOM OF GOD.
Matthew 13:11
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, but to them it is not given.
Mark 4:11
And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the KINGDOM OF GOD: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
Mark 1:15
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the KINGDOM OF GOD is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Matthew 3:2
And saying, Repent ye: for the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is at hand.
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS THE ONE INSIDE OF THE BELIEVER!
Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, THE KINGDOM OF GOD is within you.
OKAY, NOW IF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS THE ONE THAT IS PHYSICALLY ON EARTH, WHY DOES JESUS SAY HE WILL TAKE IT AWAY FROM UNBELIEVING JEWS?
Matthew 21:42-43
Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
Therefore say I unto you, THE KINGDOM OF GOD shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
HE DID NOT SAY KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. HOWEVER HE SPOKE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD AS IF IT WERE THE ONE OF HEAVEN.
The kingdom of God is within you and yet it seem to have physical properties like people believe only the kingdom of heaven possess.
Luke 13:29
And THEY SHALL COME from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and SHALL SIT DOWN IN the kingdom of God.
THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN SEEM TO HAVE SPIRITUAL ASPECTS UNLIKE THAT OF A PHYSICAL KINGDOM.
Matthew 18:3
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
If the Kingdom of heaven is physical, why do you need to be converted to enter in?
In conclusion the kingdom of God is the kingdom of heaven. I don't dispute that Jesus will have an earthly kingdom. However both the kingdom of God and heaven are the same thing.
I have a first and last name. Both of those names refer to my spirit and my body which are one. It is this way with the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven. The earthly kingdom can not be separated from the spiritual one although they have different properties.
