TOTAL DEPRAVITY?

Luke 11:13
If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, BEING EVIL, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

That's interesting an evil person can do something good excluding him from being TOTALLY depraved.  Sinners, yes!  Totally depraved, hardly.

UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION?

John 3:36
He that BELIEVETH ON THE SON hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 3:18

He that BELIEVETH ON HIM is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Romans 10:9
THAT IF thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Belief is the condition.  IF you believe, THEN you will be saved.

LIMITED ATONEMENT?

1 Timothy 4:10
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, SPECIALLY of those that believe.

1 John 2:2
And he is the propitiation for our sins: AND NOT FOR OURS ONLY, but also for the sins of the whole world.

2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying DENYING THE LORD THAT BOUGHT THEM, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

God's purchase extends to the wicked and unbelieving.  They just don't access the gift.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 11:26
And WHOSOEVER liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Romans 5:14-18
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, SO ALSO IS THE FREE GIFT. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, SO IS THE GIFT: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life.

This comparison of Adam's curse and Christ's gift of eternal life only works if they both are universal.  We all die in Adam, not some.  The gift is offered to ALL men.  Some do not chose it, but it is as wide spread as the curse.

 John 12:32
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw ALL MEN unto me.

IRRESISTIBLE GRACE?

Acts 7:51
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, YE DO ALWAYS RESIST THE HOLY GHOST as your fathers did, so do ye

PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS?

Where does this come from?

Mathew 24:13
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

This is speaking about the Great Tribulation.  It is not talking about spiritual salvation.  It is talking about physical salvation.

Matthew 24:21-22
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should NO FLESH be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

IT IS PRESERVATION OF THE SAINTS NOT PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS!

Jude 1:1
Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called

REPROBATES VERSES UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION

Jeremiah 6:30
Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.

GOD CAN AND DOES PREVENT A SPECIAL CLASS OF UNBELIEVERS FROM BEING SAVED BASED ON THEIR PERSISTENT REJECTION OF HIM

Genesis 6:3
And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Why would God strive with men that he never had a choice in being wicked?

John 12:40
He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

NOTICE GODS BLINDS THEM AND HARDENS THEIR HEARTS?  SO THAT MEANS AT SOME POINT THEY WERE NOT BLINDED, AND THEIR HEARTS NOT HARDEN,

Romans 1:28
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient

NOTICE GOD TURNS THEM OVER TO A REPROBATE MIND.  IN OTHER WORDS THEY WERE NOT CHOSEN OR ELECTED BY BIRTH TO BE THAT WAY! WHEN THE THEY DID NOT RETAIN GOD IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE, GOD REACTED WITH THIS PUNISHMENT.

God does give up on man despite wide spread misunderstanding on this topic.  It takes a lot but it does happen!   HOWEVER, once you are born again Jesus will never leave you or forsake you, this only applies to unbelievers!

-But to him that worketh not
